Ariana Grande Ill and Forced to Cancel Concerts: “I Am in a Lot of Pain”

This is news that may leave many people speechless. In the middle of her Sweetener Tour, Ariana Grande began canceling scheduled dates due to health concerns that the singer described as worrying on social media.

Ariana Grande’s tour was originally nearing its end. The 26-year-old American artist, who began her concert series in March—and performed twice in France in August 2019—was expected to conclude her performances just before the holiday season in Inglewood, California. However, the schedule now appears to be changing.

“I am afraid I may have to cancel some of my dates,” she continued. “I am very disappointed and afraid to find out why my condition is not improving at all, as this has already been going on for three weeks.”

“Overworked to cope”

While she plans to see a doctor, Ariana Grande has reportedly been relying on vitamin infusions, herbal teas, and episodes of Gossip Girl in the meantime. Such exhaustion would not be surprising given recent events. Within a few months, Ariana Grande endured a devastating terrorist attack, experienced a breakup with Pete Davidson, and faced the death of her former partner Mac Miller. Despite all this, she still managed to release two albums and travel the world to perform for her fans.

“Grief took a heavy toll on me,” she reflected in Vogue. “I’m not saying what we had was perfect, but damn—it was the best person in the world, and he did not deserve the demons that haunted him.”

After briefly retreating into the studio, Ariana Grande may now be experiencing a delayed physical and emotional aftermath. One can only hope she will soon be able to say “Thank U, Next” to these lingering health struggles.
